Mission Statement It is our mission to provide victims of domestic violence with resources, crisis intervention and shelter and to educate the community in order to stop abuse for everyone. Advocacy Still A Rose assists victims with learning about their rights as victims of domestic violence, by filing victims’ compensation claims and accessing resources for assistance. Advocates assess participants' needs, assist them in developing a personalized safety plan, identify community resources for services needed, provide assistance in accessing those services, coordinate services and follow-up. These services offered through Still A Rose are essential to assist victims in stabilizing their lives after victimization, help them understand and participate in the criminal justice system, and to provide them with safe shelter if needed. Meeting the needs of all domestic violence victims requires effective collaboration between domestic violence service providers, victim advocates and experts. We partner with a variety of community agencies within the TRIAD to provide needed services to domestic violence victims.
